DANA A. STORY ENDOWMENT FUND
Shipbuilder,
historian and author Dana A. Story (1919-2005)left
an enduring legacy that illustrates the history
of the Town of Essex and its enormous impact on
the Maritime heritage of our nation. The Dana A.
Story Endowment Fund was established in 2001 in
his honor to support the care of the Museum’s
collections, to which Dana had contributed so
much, and to which he was devoted.
